a) Authority Letter (LOA) — you appoint Line-1 Logistics Pty Ltd as your licensed customs broker under s.181(1) of the Customs Act 1901 to lodge import declarations and deal with the Australian Border Force and the Department of Agriculture on your behalf, on the Terms of Trade below:

1. Scope of Services

Line-1 Logistics Pty Ltd ("we", "our" or "us") agrees to provide customs brokerage services including but not limited to: lodgement of import and export declarations; classification of goods under the Customs Tariff; calculation of customs duty, GST and other applicable taxes; advice on trade regulations and compliance; representation before the Australian Border Force (ABF) and other authorities; liaison with freight forwarders, carriers and third-party agents. These Terms apply to all services provided to clients ("you" or "your") unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Client Responsibilities

You agree to: provide accurate, complete, and timely documentation and instructions; ensure that all invoices, packing lists, permits, licenses and certificates are accurate and legally compliant; pay all customs duties, taxes, penalties, and brokerage fees when due; comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including the Customs Act 1901 and Biosecurity Act 2015. We rely on the accuracy of the information you provide. We are not liable for losses caused by incorrect or incomplete data.

3. Fees and Charges

Customs brokerage fees will be quoted and agreed upon prior to service delivery. Fees may vary depending on the complexity of the job, volume, urgency, and documentation required. Disbursements such as government charges, inspection fees, and duty/tax payments are billed separately. Late payment may result in interest charges or suspension of services.

4. Limitation of Liability

We will exercise due care and skill in performing our services, but we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to the re-performance of the affected services or the refund of fees paid for those services. We are not responsible for delays caused by government agencies, carriers, or third parties.

5. Indemnity

You indemnify us against any claims, losses, or penalties arising from: breaches of law due to incorrect documentation or declarations provided by you; delays or enforcement actions caused by your failure to comply with regulations; errors resulting from information you supplied that was false, incomplete or misleading.

6. Privacy and Confidentiality

We handle all client data in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Your information will only be disclosed as required to fulfil customs or border-related obligations; to third parties involved in your supply chain; or when required by law or government authorities.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement in writing with 7 days' notice. Upon termination, all outstanding fees and disbursements remain payable, and we may withhold final documentation until invoices are paid in full.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Western Australia.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging our customs brokerage services, you acknowledge and accept these Terms of Trade.

b) Delivery Order Authority — for each shipping line selected in step 4, you authorise Line-1 Logistics Pty Ltd to request Delivery Orders (EIDO/EDO) and arrange cargo release on your behalf. This is a standing authority: it covers all current and future consignments at all Australian ports, is not tied to any single bill of lading or container, and remains in force until you revoke it in writing. The exact wording follows each shipping line's official Letter of Authority template and appears in the signed PDF.
